CHELMSFORD COUNSELLOR
Chelmsford Counselling About
My name is Majken and I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I am a registered accredited member of the BACP, which is the organisation that sets, promotes and maintains standards for the counselling and psychotherapy profession.
I hold a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, obtained from a local BACP accredited training organisation. I have also gained a Certificate in Working with Couples from The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. I have also gained an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision including Online and Telephone Counselling. I offer individual and group supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors working with adult clients.
I work privately as well as for a local children's charity. I also work for a large local employer within their counselling service, providing short-term therapy to employees as and when needed. I also have experience of working as an Honorary Psychotherapist within a local mental health NHS trust, where I worked with people with severe and enduring mental health problems.
I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office in compliance with the Data Protection Act and I am covered by full professional insurance.
I hold a clear, up to date, enhanced DBS check.
I attend regular clinical supervision in accordance with BACP guidelines, ensuring good practice. Your confidentiality will be protected at all times.
I am also committed to continuous personal development, as required, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Clinical Assessment Course and Depression.
